Keith Cozart, more commonly known as Chief Keef, is being forcibly removed from his Chicago home this morning, according to sources inside the Chicago Tribune. While the owner of the Mansion, Bal K. Bansal, states that it is a “mutual” move, the Lake County officers confirmed that it is in fact an eviction.
This entire scene is the result of a May 7th court hearing, when an order for forcible entry and detainer was filed, which marked the end of an eviction process that started back in February. Keef was found to be behind on his rent payments of upwards of $30,000 that he promised to pay in full by April 20. However, time has run out for the rapper and now he is out of the home.
Bansal thought that Cozart was a good tenet, but this statement was contradicted as well. Neighbors stated that he was terrible neighbor, especially since they heard gunshots from the residence a few weeks ago. They also complained about the amount of car traffic that would frequent Cozart’s home.
It’s not looking good for Keef at the moment, getting evicted is definitely something that he shouldn’t like.
