The Top Dawg will still reign.
Earlier this year, the CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment promised an album from every artist on the roster, and following Ab-Soul‘s These Days (June 24), it appears Kendrick is up next.
Kendrick Lamar has confirmed that Dr. Dre will be working on his upcoming album. Even after the $3 billion signed deal with Apple, Dr. Dre is still focused on making music.
“One thing about Dre, you can’t take the music away. No matter how much money he has, he’s always gonna be right there in that studio..” stated the Grammy nominated emcee.
This 3rd studio album is a follow up to Lamar’s platinum album, Good Kid M.A.A.D City–which Dr. Dre executive produced–which is expected to release September 2014.
