On Sunday night the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Miami Heat winning the 2014 NBA Championship. 22-year old breakout star, Kawhi Leonard was named the Finals MVP. Of course when you play well people begin to compare you to other great players.
One guy said he would take Leonard over Paul George. The guy happened to be a friend of Kevin Durant and KD decided to chime in on the opinion. Durant said the guy is trippin and that Leonard flourishes because of coach Gregg Popovich’s system.
I do agree that Popovich’s system turns the most unlikely of players into stars but still you can’t take away from what Leonard pulled off.
As more people took notice of the tweets, Durant later deleted them. You gotta say it with your chest man.
