Dre finally reveals the release date of the N****s Wit Attitude flick

Dr. Dre took to the platform of The Arsenio Hall Show last year to announce the coming of an N.W.A. movie, which is being directed by F. Gary Gray, the director of Friday and Set It Off.

Today, Dre tweeted the release date, which will be 8/14/15 for the flick appropriately named Straight Outta Compton, the title of their sophomore, multi-platinum album. The tweet included an official press photo with the players of the anticipated blockbuster, which include Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson, who will play his dad, Jason Mitchell, who will play Eazy-E, and Corey Hawkins will be playing Dr. Dre.

The movie will be executive produced by Eazy-E’s wife Tomica Woods-Wright and Matt Alvarez.
