Reports have revealed that the “Voice of NY” and 43-year old Bronx Native Angie Martinez will not only be taking her talents to South Beach on Miami’s The Beat but she will be switching teams, joining fellow Hot 97 convert DJ Clue over at Power 105. While some fans have seemed upset, it seems the Hot 97 team are taking it all in stride, check out their farewell tweets. 
Although this appears to be a great career move for Martinez many are wondering who will fill the void over at Hot 97, as Martinez is one of the stations major talents having spent the last two decades interviewing artists and hosting her top-ranked afternoon show.
