looking in mirror

Drake tends to get a lot of flack for producing music that’s sentimental and effeminate, but in reality, he’s one of the most versatile artists in his league. While many rappers will go shopping for someone to drop a hook in between their verses – Drake just saves himself some of his young money and does the damn thing himself.

His ability to transition from rapping to singing, and flawlessly intertwine the two on any given track, has enabled him to be marketable to all demographics.

His multi-talents in the booth, combined with consistently relatable subject matter (despite much of it being labeled as “soft”) have been keys to his major commercial success.

We decided to take a look back at all of the Drake-vocalist collaborations – many of those “features” being himself – and bring them to light in the wake of his impending official Nothing Was The Same release.

Hit the jumps ahead to take a look at Drake’s hip hop-R&B hybrids.
