It’s almost strange how natural and almost “yea of course” it seemed for Jay Z and wife Beyonce to finally go on tour together this summer, especially considering Jay’s recent collabo tours with Kanye West and Justin Timberlake, but let us not forget for Beyonce and Jay Z, to finally go on tour together is a pretty freakin big deal!
In light of the elevator ride seen round the world and some heavy blog buzz, as of late talk of trouble within the Carter’s marriage has been a hot topic, some even reported that the ‘On The Run Tour’ – which begins June 25th in Miami’s Sun Life Stadium- was struggling ticket sale wise. Well it seems that concept is in direct competition with, the truth.
According to a recent report from Forbes, the tour’s roughly $100 million in ticket sales so far spread out over only 20 dates puts it on track to be the second highest per show grossing concert ever. The number one show is U2‘s ’360 Tour’ which did over $730 million, but was spread out over 110 tour dates. The full list is
