The Cleveland Cavaliers hold the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft yet again. Last year’s pick of Anthony Bennett didn’t work out well to say the least and the Cavaliers are trying not to repeat history. There are several teams who covet the top pick in this year’s loaded draft with players like Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker in the mix. The Cavaliers are reportedly listening to offers for the pick but that’s not all.
The Cavaliers also have two players that teams have their eye on, point guard Kyrie Irving and shooting guard Dion Waiters. According to Waiters one of them could be gone very soon.
Interesting note to Dion Waiters talk: Source close to Waiters tells @FOXSportsOH that Waiters thinks he or Kyrie Irving will be traded.

Sense is, despite buzz, Cavs not close to deal they like. Told they could be really busy Thursday night, “or it may be nothing.”

While many have dreamed up superstar LeBron James returning to Cleveland and teaming up with Irving, Kyrie has allegedly voiced his desire to leave the team. It’s either due to their poor production or his reported rift with teammate Dion Waiters or a combination of the two.
Once again this isn’t the first time talks about trading either one has come up, draft night just presents new possibilities. It could still lead to nothing but it’s something to keep an eye on.
