Audio/Video streams will now count towards Gold/Platinum status

The RIAA has figured out a new way to reward artists for their work and that is by integrating audio/video streams in their count towards gold (500,000) and platinum (1,000,000) status. RIAA’s agenda is to recognize the achievements on the digital side of music for artists that have earned these awards. This new system will make it easier for artist’s singles to win such awards, below is a list of songs that have reached gold, platinum, or multi-platinum status thanks to the new system.
