The assault on the young girl follows a second attack of a 27-year-old Salem, New Jersey mother

A 15-year-old girl says she was sitting on a park bench when three women came up to her and begin punching her. The unprovoked teen was pulled of the bench and dragged onto the floor as the women viciously beat, punched and kicked her. On lookers recorded and even cheered on the women but sadly nothing was done to help the poor teen. After the teen thought the attack was over, one women returned and kicked the victim in the head. The attack happened last Thursday and immediately went viral online. The victim reportedly made a complaint to Brooklyn Police. You can take a look at the clip here.  So far none of the women have been identified in this second attack but there is hope for 27-year-old Catherine Ferreira who knows her attacker.

Police are searching for 25-year-old Latia Harris, who Ferreira says could have killed her. The attack on Ferreira stemmed from an incident that happened 2-3 weeks prior. Ferreira made a comment about Harris being romantically involved with a manager at a nearby McDonalds she used to work at.

“I was joking around with two other employees,” she said. “I was talking to my former co-workers — and since she overheard the statements that I made, she was upset…She asked me why I said that, and told me she could get into trouble.”

While walking home Tuesday, Harris attacked her and even threatened to hit her 2-year-old son who screamed and cried desperately trying to save his mother.

“I became really afraid,” Ferreira said. “I thought she may have been capable of hitting my son. I mean, her size versus my size — she could have killed me.”

On lookers recorded but did nothing to help. Ferreira suffered a broken nose and severe bruising to the face. Harris had not been apprehended as of Thursday night, but police will charge her with aggravated assault and making terroristic threats. You can view the violent clip here.
