After a day of wooing from the Chicago Bulls, Carmelo Anthony is now in Texas to meet with the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks. The Rockets are up first and like the Bulls they’ve created huge signage of Anthony in the team’s jersey over the Toyota Center and several other places. The only problem this time is that the No. 7 jersey already belongs to Jeremy Lin.
Things are already rough between Lin and Anthony if you remember the media frenzy while both were in New York. Anthony was injured and “Linsanity” took over. When Anthony returned there were numerous questions about whether or not the two could play together. Following that season the Knicks chose not to match the Rockets offer sheet and Lin headed over to Houston.
Now the Rockets are trying to bring in Anthony and there’s rumblings about trading Jeremy Lin in order to make room for another player. Lin posted this tweet to this Twitter account.
Luke 6:29 – If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them

Lin, a devout Christian, often posts bible quotes but the timing and subject of this one is suspicious. It seems like he’s feeling betrayed and he confirmed it when someone asked why he felt entitled.
@EmodMarco im entitled to standup for myself/say i felt disrespected as i did thru tweet but point is love unconditionally/as jesus loved me
