Sebastian “Bassy” is back for another shot
NYC’s posterchild finally makes his way back to the league and will debut this upcoming 2014-2015 season with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Sebastian “Bassy” Telfair who was once deemed as the “2nd coming” for all pg’s out of Coney Island and was a lottery pick back in 2004 will finally be back in the league.
Due to never finding a niche in the league, he was shipped around a bit and eventually fizzled out of the league after playing nine seasons with seven teams. Well it’s safe to say Bassy is back after spending a year with Tijanjin Ronggang Golden Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association and averaging 26 pts. and 5.9 assists with the squad. Sebastian has signed a one-year non-guaranteed deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder as of today. Good to see Bassy back in the league, let’s hope he stays for a while considering he has a lot of basketball left.
