One random cast.

What do Sylvester StalloneNellyKelsey Grammer, and Kyra Sedgwick all have in common? Probably nothing — until now. This rather random cast of stars are all set to star in writer-director John Herzfeld‘s upcoming drama, Reach Me.

Reach Me follows a group of people who are connected through a self-help book entitled “Reach Me” (obviously) written by an anonymous, reclusive author that writes under the pseudonym “Teddy Raymond” (played my Tom Berenger). Nelly who plays a born-again rapper by the name of “E-Ruption” (try your hardest not to laugh at that one), Sly Stallone will play a painter and investigative journalist, writing an exposé to discredit “Raymond” as a fraud with help from his assistant, Roger (played by Kevin Connolly) and Thomas Jane will play a violent, gun slinging, vigilante police officer (didn’t he basically play that in The Punisher?) named “Wolfie”. You can expect all character’s paths will intertwine, much like the Paul Haggis‘ 2004 crime drama Crash, in this feel-good film.

Terry CrewsDanny AielloLauren CohanDanny TrejoOmari Hardwick, and many more join the cast for the film which is set for a October 24th release. Enjoy the trailer above.
