Spurs head coach Greg Popovich has agreed to a contract extension with the San Antonio Spurs.

Freshly minted as this year’s NBA Finals champion, Popovich is the longest tenured active coach in both the NBA and all big four sports league.

He’s coached the team since the 1996 and has won five NBA Finals championships. It is believed that he’ll coach four to five more seasons.
