After LeBron James’ departure back to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, the Miami Heat reached an agreement with free agent Luol Deng.
Both parties agreed in principle on a two-year, $20 million deal.
A 10 year veteran, Deng played nine seasons for the Chicago Bulls before being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in January.
The 6-foot-9 forward and two-time NBA All Star, Deng holds career averages of 16 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
