Kevin Durant has inked yet another major endorsement deal
Kevin Durant has had a fantastic year wouldn’t you say? While leading the NBA in scoring and getting MVP nods, Kevin Durant has been on a roll. From looks of it, it doesn’t look like his year is slowing down. On Monday, the Oklahoma City Thunder forward signed a deal to help endorse the beverage brand Sparkling Ice.
According to Kevin Durant:
“I’ve always challenged myself on the basketball court, but this offseason is really the first year I’m challenging myself off of it — on the business side.” “This is a brand I drink every day that I love and I wanted to be a part of it. I want to help them get to the next level.”
The company plans to use the all-star to help the company expand its brand internationally and gain world recognition. According to Michael Yormark, the president and chief strategy officer at Roc Nation Sports:
“He told us that this brand was already a part of him and he wanted to have an official relationship”
Look for this beverage brand to sky rocket with the endorsement from the Oklahoma forward. Durant also is an endorser of Kind Bars and the video game series “NBA 2K”.
