The Gang’s all here

Hot 97′s Peter Rosenberg is having his 3rd annual ‘Peterpalooza’ concert next week July 23rd at the Best Buy Theatre in New York City.  Scheduled to perform are Danny Brown, Acton Bronson, & Schoolboy Q.  Q was actually a performer at last years Peterpalooza along with Odd Future & Meek Mill but now returns this year as a headliner.

As if those 3 artists weren’t enough, we now have the announcement adding Schoolboy’s TDE brother Ab-Soul, as well as upcoming New Jersey rapper Retch and Chris Rivers, the son of Big Pun.

What makes this concert so interesting is that Brown, Bronson, Q & Soul between them have numerous collaborations like Soul’s “Terrorist Threats” ft Danny Brown or Bronson’s “Demolition Man”ft Q ;the potential for them to perform some of these songs  together is pretty epic.

When we spoke to Peter he had this to say regarding the collaborative nature of the artists picked for this yeas show.

One of the things that makes PeterPalooza special is that it’s for artists that I have connections to and it just so happens that many of these artists have connections with each other. It’s funny that we just added Soulo and Retch because they’re super close as well. You can expect to see a lot of collaboration and guest spots throughout the night. This is hands down the most organic and unified PeterPalooza yet!
