One of the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing becomes a victor

Jeff Bauman, lost his legs as he awaited his girlfriend at the finish line during the Boston marathon in April 2013, when two pressure cooker bombs went off, killing three people and wounding more than 260.

Bauman’s book, Stronger, which was published in April, will soon hit the big screens, according to the Hollywood Reporter.  The film has yet to have a director or a cast, however its already creating award season buzz as it is being produced by part of the same producing team that brought David O Russell’s Drama The Fighter to the win at the Oscars.

Held accountable for this ferocious attack is two Chechen brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnev.

Tamerlan who was pronounced dead at the scene, after he was shot several times by police, then ran over by his brother when Dzhokhar was trying to escape. Dzhokhar was finally caught after a manhunt and is now facing the death penalty.

On July 13th Jeff and Erin welcomed a new baby girl, Nora.
