What LeBron James wants, LeBron James gets.
The King decided to return home to the Cleveland Cavaliers and wanted his teammates to join him. A few days later both Mike Miller and James Jones signed with the Cavs. Now James has made it clear that he wants Kevin Love to join him so it’s practically a certainty that the Cavaliers will do what it takes to get him.
James isn’t the only one that wants to pair up, Love is reportedly very into the move as well. Love is enthusiastic about the idea of teaming with James on the Cleveland Cavaliers, sources said.
Love’s representatives have informed Timberwolves management he will opt out of his contract after next season and leave the franchise in free agency if he is not traded.
The Cavaliers front office was previously reluctant to part with No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins but today coinciding with James declaration, new reports surfaced that Wiggins is now available. That was previously reported as the one holdup in a possible trade between the Timberwolves and Cavaliers. Still with the new development, a deal between the two teams isn’t imminent.
Though the Cavaliers have shown a willingness to possibly include Wiggins in a package for Love, they would likely need additional teams to complete a deal, according to Yahoo Sports.
Look out for new developments.
