Her Source bookclub looks at My Life With The Knight by Stormy Ramdhan
My Life With The Knight is written by Stormey Ramdhan
If you thought you knew everything about Suge Knight, you must not know about the woman who was number one in life besides his mother, Stormey Ramdhan. This tell-all is definitely different from all of the others, as a woman tells her story about innocence and love lost while she was 17. Ramdhan gives first hand behind the scenes accounts of Death Row Records, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg and her relationship with Knight. In the book, she also detailed how when she got with Knight that it was her first real love with someone that was older than her.
In three words, I would describe Ramdhan as independent, honest, and caring because I got to know her for who she is and not what she is. I couldn’t stop reading this book as I envisioned what her life was really like. She was practically homeless at one point, while she cared for her two kids. She didn’t let her relationship with Knight define who she is. I would recommend that all women read this book because she shares the importance of women valuing themselves.
