Drake returns to NYC’s Alife flagship store Backyard Session giving an intimate performance for the release of his new album “Nothing Was the Same.” Well-known street visual artist, 13thWitness, captured the live session of Drake performing some of his hit songs off the album and being accompanied by Raekwon and Travis Scott. Drake goes on performing  ”All Me,” his verse from “Versace,” and “Wu-Tang Forever.” During the session, Drake reminisces to the crowd about the first time he ever performed in NYC at Alife:

“I remember when I came to NYC, my first performance where was at the Alife Backyard. I remember standing in the back corner and the told me I had to perform. It was me Dice, Tommy, Oliver, I was nervous as fuck. I know y’all be here for a minute, but I’m here for y’all. But, like the title of what my album says, Nothing Was The Muthaf**kin‘ Same.”

Selling over 750,000 copies his first week, it give Drake the respect he deserves for the hip-hop world. Take a look at the exclusive footage below!
