It was the end of the 90′s and it was clear to all that Wu-Tang was “Forever”. So much so, that when Nike decided to re-release their Dunk High collection titled, “Be True,” instead of associating the Goldenrod (yellow/black) colorway with the University of Iowa, they opted for a Wu-Tang logo.

Can it be that it was all so simple? Well, not really. The Wu-Tang Dunks were extremely limited at the time. According to the good folks at SoleCollector, some have estimated the run at 36 pairs, representing the group’s 36 chambers. It’s also been said that a very small run was sold at New York City sneaker shop Training Camp.

The sparsity of these Dunks is almost synonymous with the Air Yeezy. That is, unless you wear a size 11.5 and have a little over $10,000 to spare.
