Misty Copeland inspire girls to make their dream come true
Ballet dancer Misty Copeland knows what it means to be rejected but she doesn’t let that get the best of her in the new Under Armour Ad. In the 60 second ad, you hear the voice a girl reading real rejection letters about Copeland being too old to ballet dance and also having the wrong body for ballet but Copeland still keeps dancing as she doesn’t hear the negativity.
Back in January, it was announced that she was the spokeswoman for the athletic brand, making her the first non athlete. She is such an inspiration because at the age of 24, she became the became the second black soloist in the history of the prestigious American Ballet Theater and she never gave up on herself. She also wrote about her life in her autobiography, Life In Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina. Currently, she is a judge on the dance competition show, So You Think You Could Dance.
