The Source Magazine was on the red carpet for the New York premiere of “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete” hosted by The Cinema Society and Tommy Hilfiger. The film hits theaters Oct. 11. 

Jennifer Hudson, the film’s executive producer Alicia Keys, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Julito McCullum, director George Tillman Jr, producers Rachel Cohen, Jana Edelbaum all walked the red carpet at the Tribeca Grand Hotel.

Other notables in attendance included Tommy & Dee Hilfiger, Swizz Beatz, Sean Parker, Maxwell, Bryan Greenberg, Jamie Chung, Clive Davis, Steve Buscemi, Valerie Simpson (Ashford & Simpson), Natasha Bedingfield, Dulé Hill, Jaime Cepero, Daniel Benedict and Cinema Society founder Andrew Saffir. The party was at Jungle City Studios (Alicia Keys’ recording studio), where guests drank Hennessy cocktails and enjoyed Olivier Cheng’s catering.
