The entire Wu-Tang Clan made an appearance on The Daily Show last night, putting their much publicized differences aside to perform “Triumph” from their 1997 album, Wu-Tang Forever. “Triumph” is a historically legendary song for two reasons: one, it had no hook, just straight bars, perhaps an early inspiration for Cappadonna’s Hook Off, an entire album with no hooks; and two, they did the seemingly impossible by getting a six minute song on the radio. They also talked their new album, A Better Tomorrow.
