The first artist of Drakes OVO sound label took a step away from his  emotionally, detached drug fueled lyricism in his latest release, PartyNextDoor Two. Unlike his self titled initial debut, this second album sheds more light on his emotional side and while last year “Wild bitches” telling him lies was the greatest of his problems, it seems this time around his bravado has been replaced with an urge for intimacy with tracks like, “Her Way” and “Grown Woman”.  However one thing PND hasn’t replaced is his self produced beats, boasting earlier this summer on twitter about his efforts to keep the OVO bounce and sound that we have become so familiar with intact. This second album is double the playtime of it’s predecessor and unfortunately even after a few listens, it doesn’t play through as well as the first but  even if you feel the urge to skip you’ll be sure to stumble onto a gem.
