Baton Rouge’s Rukus Board Shop is giving us a taste of the South with their upcoming Nike Dunks. Their Nike SB Dunk Low QS “Crawfish” sneakers are reminiscent of a good ‘ol Louisiana crawfish boil, complete with a red speckled crawfish-like upper & quilted yellow leather detailing to signify corn, another main ingredient in the traditional southern dish. Another standout feature in the collaborative kicks is the newspaper print in the upper panels, since a crawfish boil is normally eaten on top of the paper. The quickstrike release will only be made available at the Rukus store this Saturday, August 16th, retailing at $170. But wait- there’s so much more. The board shop will also be selling custom Stance socks & a Nike SB tee to go along with the kicks, making this release not only exclusive but one of the more creative ones we’ve seen this year. Take a closer look at them below & decide if you’ll be making the trip to cop them- I guarantee you they’re totally worth it.
