The National Action Network, National Bar Association and the family of Michael Brown will hold a rally in support of justice for Michael Brown on Sunday.

The rally will take place at the Greater Grace Church in Ferguson, MO and will begin at 3:00 PM CST.

Rev. Al Sharpton, president of the National Action Network will join along Michael Brown’s parents—Lesley McSpadden and Michael Brown Sr. and their attorney Benjamin Crump in the rally. Martin Luther King III will speak at the event.

“National Action Network will stand with the family, as we have done for families around the country and assist in any way that we can,” Reverend Sharpton said in a released statement on Sunday.

Brown, 18 was shot to death by a police officer Saturday afternoon in Ferguson, Mo., a suburb of St. Louis, as he and a friend walked down a street.

According to St. Louis County Police Chief Joe Belmar, Brown,was unarmed, but physically assaulted an officer during a struggle. During the struggle, Brown reached for the officer’s gun and one shot was fired in the car followed by other gunshots outside of the car.

U.S. President Barack Obama weighed in on the embattled town of Ferguson, MO while on vacation in Martha’s Vineyard: “Of course, it’s important to remember how this started,” he said. “We lost a young man, Michael Brown, in heartbreaking and tragic circumstances. He was 18 years old, and his family will never hold Michael in their arms again.”
