The Broad Steet Bully spent two years in prison on income tax evasion charges dating from 2003-2005.
A former member of Jay-Z and Damon Dash’s Roc-a-Fella crew, the South Philly native was responsible for forcing folks to pay attention to Philadelphia hip-hop and introducing rappers like Freeway, Young Chris, Young Neef, Peedie Crakk and Oshino & Sparks to the bright lights of hip-hop.
Sigel released or was featured on memorable tracks like Change The Game, Reservoir Dogs, Feel It In The Air, This Can’t Be Life and Remember Them Days.
According to TMZ, Beans will spend time in a halfway house to help him transition.
