We In The House
Following in the footsteps of its Brooklyn predecessor, House of Vans has officially landed at London’s Old Vic Tunnels in Waterloo.
On Thursday, footwear brand Vans delivered a sleek event to celebrate the opening. Van’s executive Steve Van Doren came down to cut the ribbon and legendary riders Danny Wainwright, Tony Alva and Christian Hosoi gave the bowl a go.
The music line up was not too shabby either – Public Enemy, Dinosaur Jr, Savages & Roots Manuva definitely got the crowd going.
The five tunnels spread over 30,000 sqft are home to a gallery, café, bars, office space, a music venue, cinema and London’s only indoor skatepark which consists of a concrete bowl, mini ramp and street section.
The crowd at the event was absolutely buzzing as the space is a huge contribution to London’s community – bringing street culture, art and music together. Stay rad London – go online and book your free skateboarding or BMX session now at the HouseOfVansLondon.com website.
