Wiz Khalifa talks new album, tour life, being a father and more on The Breakfast Club

Wiz returned to The Breakfast Club this morning with a slightly new agenda on his plate. The last time Wiz dropped by his 28 Grams mixtape had just dropped. Today, the rapper was there to talk about his new album, Blacc Hollywood, that drops tomorrow, August 19. According to Wiz, Blacc Hollywood is modeled around classics and making hits that people will respect as far as writing and production.

“The theme is just really embracing who you are, creatively; your own ideas, your path. And there’s a lot of moments that I wanted to capture that are really important to me in life.”

Wiz also reveals that he executive produced the album as well. The Taylor Gang rapper discusses touring with Jeezy and the two headlining the tour bringing together different, “waves” of fans as he explains more in detail. Wiz also touches on Rostrum Records, doing the theme song for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, in which Wiz admits to being a huge fan of, potentially expanding Taylor Gang, and more.
