When you’re the closest thing there is to American royalty, it’s good to be realistic about why people want to hang out with you.
In a recent interview with Billboard, French Montana commented on his relationship with reality star Khloe Kardashian in a controversial but refreshingly honest way. On the topic of their relationship’s media attention French said,
“I want to capitalize on it. I’ll get a fan base from everywhere. I just hope I’ll be able to connect with everything that’s going on.”
Admitting that you plan on taking full advantage of your girlfriend’s celebrity status is not the most romantic statement. This also might be tough for Khloe fans who are feeling especially protective of their girl after her disaster of a divorce with Lamar Odom, which was prominently featured on the last season of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, but it turns out she’s fine with it!
A couple days after the Billboard article was released Khloe tweeted,
It’s amusing to me that Y’all think I don’t see it. I was the first one to see it. I just don’t care.

This kind of realness is what makes Khloe a fan favorite. People should realize that she has been in this tabloid game for a while and knows how things go. This is a Kardashian we are talking about, both Francois and Khlo Khlo were going into this relationship knowing that fame is involved. She’s more famous than him, and is aware how much he stands to gain by just being seen next to her.
Khloe’s recent appearance in the video for French’s new DJ Mustard produced song “Don’t Panic” makes it pretty clear that she’s willing to escort him to the top of todays pop culture mountain. Lets hope they can remain a happy couple throughout the hike.
Julia likes these two as a couple, but if them breaking up brought her one step closer to Khloe, thatd be totally fine. Follow her on Twitter – @jaybeetheworst
