Half a G for your own personalized song from one of our generations best lyricists, SOLD!

Late Wednesday night (8/20) Chicago’s own Lupe Fiasco took to twitter to make a make a very interesting proposition.

Now Lupe has been know to be a bit of a troll on Twitter -some may recall his successful baiting of Childish Gambino about a year ago, a pretty impressive feat consider Gambino is the same guy with a track on his album dedicated to the worlds biggest troll ever – but this new twitter  claim does actually seems to be legitimate .

He clarified that this is not an offer of a $500 feature verse, but a custom song that you can tailor make by choosing the beat, subject matter and mood of.  Showing that his mouth is seemingly where your money is, he tweeted this picture of what seems to be an original “hungry” verse dealing with “the beauty of Chicago” written to the beat of Ghost Face Killah‘s “Apollo Kids”

just as twitter user @adamgardens asked for

He did the same thing with another request .

Lupe also went on to say that for an additional $500 you can watch him record the verse, and that you MUST pay in cash in person, in whatever city you’re in, meaning this isn’t just restricted to Chicago residents.  If he follows through on this, which I really think he will, this is definitely one of the most unique and awesome things a rapper or artist period has done.

Stay tuned we’ll keep you updated with what happens.

Update: an interesting little tidbit via social media
