WAKE UP!!!!

After you’ve put your shorts, t-shirt and jogging shoes on, make sure that your headphones and iPod are blasting Justus and King Mez’s Masters track.

Check It Out:

Masters is the first single off of Justus’ Son of Man album that dropped on the 4th of July. The majority of the album was produced by Gerald Washington and tells Justus’ story. What better way to usher his movement in than by featuring King Mez, a guy featured recently in The Source?

The record, according to Justus depicts many of his struggles in life that have fueled his hunger—something that the morning warrior can benefit from while getting their day started on the right foot.. “I believe the aggressive and vent like vibe of the song goes hand in hand with the adrenaline one has when working out,” Justus told The Source.

By the way, Mez and Justus, hail from Raleigh, North Carolina—a place that both J. Cole and the Washington Wizards’ John Wall call home. DANG! Is there something in the water out there? “When we were growing up, it was hardly anyone from our area that we could turn on the TV and say “hey he’s from here,” said Justus. “So I believe that produced a strong desire in our hearts; a desire to do great things that would make the young ones coming up after us proudly say that they are from North Carolina.”
