Celebrities continue to freeze for a cause.

Dozens of celebrities have taken to social networking sites to show their support & awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or ALS as most people know it by. The  ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has been taken on by singers, rappers & entertainers alike, &  more recently Cali buddies Dr. Dre & Kendrick Lamar have stepped to the plate- well, bucket.

Challenged by Apple CEO Tim Cook, Dr. Dre didn’t hesitate at all once the bucket of ice cold water was poured onto his entire body in front of  a group of crew members.

Naturally, he challenged longtime friends Eminem, Snoop Dogg & K. Dot to do the same. No word yet from Snoop or Em, but Kendrick took to Instagram to show how it’s done, while challenging Serena Williams, Ellen Degeneres & Samuel L. Jackson to do the same.

According to the New York Times, the fun (albeit serious) Ice Bucket Challenge has raised over $40 million since July 29th. Lots of people have taken to social media over the past few weeks to raise ALS awareness, & their efforts have helped extremely.  Stay tuned as we post more celebrities accepting the challenge in the coming days.
