Self reflecting space cadets, assemble! Artist Kilo Kish recently released her music video for “Locket” that a lot of people I know will immediately vibe with–not just because of the honey smooth feel to the track matched by her airy voice, but because they, too, find themselves super deep in thought in public. In a tight room, both filled and void of friends, Kilo unpacks her mental baggage only to pack it back up again to hit the road. Sometimes you don’t need any substance but your own conscious to get lost at a party.
“Locket” is part of her new EP that she is releasing on Maison Kitsuné’s ever cool label. She will also be touring with pictures and art, curated by herself. All of this is part of her new gig as Maison’s ambassador for their upcoming Fall/Winter collection.
And yes, that is the Internet making a cameo in the video.

Bryan Hahn is revisiting her last project, K+, and it’s still great. He’s on Twitter (@notupstate).
