After long deliberation, Team USA committee has finally formulated their 12-man roster

Best overall team ever?

Well we won’t go that far and say that, but this team has the potential to be up there. This past weekend, the committee finally came together to form the Team USA team that will be playing in the FIBA tournament which takes place next month in Spain. Judging from the roster, Coach K and Jerry Colangelo are relying heavily on depth, speed and overall athleticism. Filling out the last roster spot in Andre Drummond and he will be called upon throughout the tournament, especially against Spain and the Gasol brothers. Another surprise within the roster is the three guard line-up in Stephen Curry, Derrick Rose and Kyrie Irving. It will be interesting to see how effectively Coach K can manage three elite point guards on the team.

Check the full 12-Man roster below:

PG: Derrick Rose, Kyrie Irving, Stephen Curry

SG: James Harden, Klay Thompson, Demar DeRozan

SF: Rudy Gay

PF: Kenneth Faried

C: Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, Andre Drummond, Mason Plumlee

Only thing Drew wants to see is a fastbreak with Derrick Rose alongside Anthony Davis & Kenneth Faried running the wings. Scary. Talk hoops with him at @Drewtheabstract
