Indianapolis emcee known as “Nino” proclaims he got his town under
lock and key

While most people may have grown accustomed thinking Indianapolis is a slow Midwestern city centered around the Indy 500 and its sports teams the Colts and the Pacers, a large portion of the city knows a far different reality.  So is the life of “Nino” aka Amani Tre Niner, who is slowly taking his city by storm, with his new song, “My City Locked” from his Middle of the Map EP – Hosted by DJ Reddy Rock.

To Amani’s surprise the project was a hit in Indianapolis and other areas of the Midwest, and it quickly spawned work on his next EP dubbed, Middle of the Map.  Accompanied by a highly successful video for the title track, ”Middle of the Map,” Amani Tre Niner has again continued to gain recognition in his city amongst his peers on the Indianapolis rap scene.  With a southern feel to his flow and a raw ability to connect with listeners, Amani describes real tales from the hood that are so gripping to their core.
