According to ESPN’s Jackie MacMullan, Boston Celtics’ point guard Rajon Rondo will not re-sign with the Boston Celtics.

Entering the last year of his contract with the Celtics, Rondo will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2015.

MacMullan also says that Rondo would not sign with the Sacramento Kings, a likely ball club to ship the guard to, if he were traded in season. The Kings, a young team, are in need of a point guard to command their offense of DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay and Derrick Williams.
