The Chicago White Sox and the Oakland A’s agreed to a deal that would send 1st baseman Adam Dunn and cash considerations to Oakland in exchange for minor league pitcher Nolan Sanburn.
Dunn was batting .220 with 20 homeruns and 54 RBI’s this season for the White Sox. Sanburn was 3-1 with a 3.28 ERA, six saves and 73 strikeouts in 42 relief appearances this season for Class-A Stockton of the California League.
