1.93 Million is the magic number for Oprah Winfrey’s Own Network, according to The Nielsen Company.

Last night the network debuted Tyler Perry’s If Loving You Is Wrong drama and it broke records by delivering it to 1.93 million viewers. That number made it the most watched series premiere in network history. The episode delivered a 1.47 rating in the key W25-54 demo up triple digits versus. one year ago, and built every quarter hour among W25-54 climbing +13% over the course of the hour.

 That’s a +206% increase!

If Loving You Is Wrong has a diverse cast and storylines ranging from heartfelt to scandalous; the sexy, sleek drama takes viewers into the lives of a group of husbands, wives and friends that live and love in the same middle class neighborhood. The television show stars Amanda Clayton, Edwina Findley, (Heather Hemmens, Zulay Henao and April Parker-Joneson in their quest to find love in the midst of managing very complex lives.

The second episode which aired at 10 p.m. delivered to 1.92 million viewers and had a 1.48 rating, marking the second-highest W25-54 rating in the time period in OWN history.

On the social media front, “If Loving You is Wrong” was trending on Twitter in the U.S.  Additionally, both episodes ranked in the top 5 most social programs on cable and in the top 10 on all of television.
