The newest member of Roc Nation isn’t wasting ANY time

Yesterday, Roc Nation announced their newest signee, Big Sean, who inked a management deal with Jay Z‘s label to go along with his being a member of Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam imprint for the past 7 years. In addition to announcing the signing, Sean promised new music, revealing nothing but an Instagram video teasing the artwork for the new music. Most expected a new single, but Sean clearly had other ideas. He’s released four brand new, original songs to his Soundcloud, which you can listen to below. The first song is called “Paradise,” which will serve as the intro to Mike Will Made It‘s upcoming Ransom mixtape, and that’s followed by a pretty big record, “IDFWU,” produced by Kanye West, DJ Mustard and DJ Dahi. Phew.

Also in tow are “Jit/Juke,” produced by frequent Big Sean collaborators Da Internz, and “4th Quarter”, the sequel to Big Sean and Key Wane‘s lyrically punishing “1st Quarter Freestyle,” closes out the quartet. Hopefully, this means we’re about to get some official 3rd album announcements from the Detroit rep. It looks like signing to the Roc just rejuvenated him.
