DeGo keeps to his Bay Area roots and links with legend Too $hort for the new Anthem “Still A Playa.”

Dego comments “I knew as soon as I wrote the chorus, there was only one cat who was smooth enough to feature on the single, and that was Too $hort.  He brings the epitome of Cali game.”

Dego further commented on $hort being an inspiration for the record; he started listening to the artist at the tender young age of 10.

“$hort hasn’t been an inspiration as much as he’s been one of my favorite artists growing up.  But listening to “I’m a Playa” at 9 or 10 years old is gonna leave an impression on you.  And that’s why I titled the track, “Still A Playa,” to pay homage to that.”
