New Orleans newcomer, Luke James, is about to make his debut on Universal’s Island Records with his self titled album in about a week and so far, so good. The singer has worked with Justin Bieber, Brittany Spears, and Chris Brown, and now he’s ready to take the spotlight, front and center. The album is a mix of traditional RnB and more contemporary, experimental production which comes as a welcomed mix. His voice is pure and the emotions are felt. Take a listen below and see for yourself. And his cover of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” is powerful in its own right.

Bryan Hahn can sing this well when he’s not sober. He’s on Twitter (@notupstate).
