YG tweets that the LAPD won’t allow him to perform at two upcoming “Vs.” tour dates
YG took to Twitter yesterday to let fans know some pretty disappointing news. The Bompton rapper won’t be allowed to perform at two out of the three upcoming “Drake Vs. Lil Wayne” shows. LAPD banned him from performing last night in Irvine and remained firm on the same decision for Monday night’s performance in Hollywood as well. Unfortunately, no real reason has been given as to why YG can’t perform but in light of the backstage shooting that occurred last month at Irvine during Wiz Khalifa’s “Under The Influence” Tour…it’s definitely a possibility that YG’s connection to Jeezy (who was arrested in connection with the shooting) could be why he’s been targeted. The whole ban is pretty strange but we’ll update as more information becomes available. Check out YG’s tweet below.
Irvine/Hollywood , the LAPD ain’t letting me perform at the #DrakeVsWayne dates today and Monday. All that giving bak must don’t matter
