Drop it like it’s hot. Thanks, MGMT.

Pharrell has produced and written for anybody who’s anybody in both the Hip-Hop and the Pop genre, but he’s certainly settled into a career-long groove with a select few. Jay Z, T.I., Pusha T, Kelis and more are among the names that can be found amongst that select few, but his repertoire with Snoop Dogg may be the most impressive. From “Beautiful” to “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” Snoop and Skateboard P have never missed when they get together. Even their lesser known records, like Snoop’s Ego Trippin cut “Sets Up” are leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. That being said, guess who’s doing an entire album together.

You was right…

Snoop Dogg revealed to MTV that Pharrell “did” his album from “top to bottom”, and he’s happy to be back in the studio working with one of his favorite producers. Pharrell took it a step further when he appeared on Big Boy’s Power 106 morning show, and had this to say about his work with Uncle Snoop.

Snoop’s album is better than mine. It’s Snoop Dogg. You’re gonna bug out from the approach of what we did. We’re almost done. The songs are done. Now I’m just adding the finishing touches…But dude. Snoop’s album is better than mine.

**speechless**

No word on what the release date will be, but so far, confirmed features are Charlie Wilson and Stevie Wonder. Awesome.

Khari just forgot about all the other albums coming out in the near future. Remind him on Twitter
