Sore losers never win, Geno

The Jets had high hopes for their second year quarterback, Geno Smith, coming into this season, but outside of some good spurts against Green Bay and Oakland, he hasn’t delivered in the way they’d hoped. Yesterday, two key late-game turnovers halted any hopes the Jets had of overcoming a 14-point deficit, and most placed that blame upon Geno Smith–to his credit the quarterback usually takes the blame for an offense’s failure to produce late in games 99.9% of the time.

However, Geno took his criticism, by way of a raining chorus of boos, to heart, and said “f*ck you” to a fan on his way out of the stadium.

 

If/when that footage surfaces, that definitely won’t be a good look for Geno, who will have to deal with an addiitonal media craze in addition to trying to get his Jets back to .500. They’re currently 1-3 with an ominous schedule ahead: Chargers, Broncos, Patriots.
