You hate to hear this happen to anyone’s father, let alone the parent of one of the industry’s brightest and positive young stars. According to a TMZ report, Corey Lamar, Rich Homie Quan‘s father and manager, was shot several times early yesterday morning when a man or multiple men opened fire, hitting Lamar several times after they entered his barbershop in an apparent armed robbery.

Our prayers are with Corey Lamar, Rich Homie Quan and their respective families. The last confirmed report has Mr. Lamar being taken into surgery, but he is expected to be able to make a full recovery despite his perceived critical status.
