If you’re as cool as me and decided to watch Boxtrolls with your little sister and then stay in for the night to post new music, you might want to put on some new EMIL (formerly Fonz-E Mak). The 2080 (formerly 2008ighties) emcee from Chicago, in true artist form, had some creative ideas for a project while recording his upcoming album, nineteen / TWENTY. As a result, instead of putting them on as bonus tracks or leaving them forever on the hard drive, he put them cohesively together for a free EP for the fans. The smooth production receives proper lyrical treatment from EMIL.

Bryan Hahn appreciated all of the underlying themes going on in Boxtrolls despite all of the young’ns not picking up on them in the theater. They will one day. He’s on Twitter (@notupstate).
