Virgil Abloh presents ‘UNDER-WATER’ exclusively for Dover Street Market Ginza which is set to release on October 17. The collection includes a series of graphic t-shirts designed in collaboration with Cali Thornhill Dewitt, a visual artist who specializes in juxtaposition of type and imagery. In conjunction with this capsule collection release, Virgil Abloh will also showcase an installation art piece labelled ‘Under-Water’ and a limited edition zine only available in-store. The entire idea behind this release is exploring the vulnerability and co-existence of man and sharks in the context of the sea exploring an object’s fluidity and form within a man-made environment.
